For me, it was a used amplifier that was put in a box and wrapped once with small bubble wrap and that's it! Plus the box was too big so the amp would slide around inside the box when you tipped it. On top of that, it was shipped via snail mail (i.e. USPS Parcel Post) across the entire United States for 8 days, and (besides it suffering a small, relatively discreet dent on one of the bottom rear corners and one side slightly bent which I was able to bend back into place) it actually arrived in pretty good shape considering the potential for severe damage. If it had been a lesser amp (Onkyo Integra integrated), it would have no doubt fell apart in transit. I'm surprised (well, maybe not LOL) that the Post Office they shipped it from even let them ship it boxed like they had it. And with NO insurance either! How surreal was that? And this happened to me today too!
