If I understand you correctly you are talking about a stolen inspection sticker ????

Well where I am from the person that gave it to you can face a $1000.00 fine and 6 months in jail if he or she has done this before but usually they will have their inspectors license suspended.......

For you, the officer will remove the sticker on the spot and then you are unable to drive it, thus you will be ticketed for this and your vehicle could be impounded................

You can be fined & ticketed, the inspector and inspection station can be fined (and can lose inspection licenses), and you can cause a deadly situation if the car is unsafe, not only for you, but for others as well. Jail time is also a possibility.

I'm surprised there are thumbs down votes for good answers here.

If those individuals are looking for the soft,easy answers like..aww don't worry no big deal.....forget it!....a safety inspection is intended to not only protect you..it's intended to protect everyone around you.

I don't exactly know what is meant by a "crooked inspection"...but..whatever it is...it's not only illegal...but..shall I say...pretty STUPID!!

The worst that can happen is...you kill yourself...(if that's your choice)....but don't go taking anybody else with you because you killed somebody else.

I know sometimes common sense is under rated these days...but holy smoke!!!...get a clue!!!

Worst that could happen?  A vehicle breaks down in a very vulnerable place and causes a fatal collision.

How do you mean? That they didn't look at everything or that you bought the sticker and the work wasn't done? Either way, you're playing with the deck stacked against you. Safety inspections are just that. Not looking at tire wear, the brakes, signals, headlights and windshield are all good reasons to get pulled over by a cop. Do yourself a favor, go to a legitimate inspection station and pay to have the repairs done. I really don't want to scrape you off the highway and load you into a plastic bag.
