my eyes are almost at a -5 but i wanna know how far it can go?

Well, contacts go up to - 20.00...and glasses can be made up to -30.00

But...that is just the strongest prescriptions available, which doesn't mean the worst vision.

Someone wearing a - 4.00 could have worse vision than someone wearing a - 8.00 if they can't be corrected to 20/20 for some reason.
