What's there to do in Downtown Dallas?

I'm visiting Dallas tomorrow and I want to go downtown, is there anything fun to do for 21-25 year old? Is there like a center where I can just walk around? Also, what souvenirs to get friends and family from Texas?

The Fair Park, just east of downtown, has places to walk around.  Bring a camera and take some pictures for souvenirs, and check the gift shops in the area.
