the village and soho have some nice shops and a college student vibe, also theres the museum of natural history with something for everyone and shopping not to far on columbus avenue, times square has a wax museum, a world records museum and mtv studios, also theres boat tours on circleline or a free ferry to staten island or governors island and theres most definitely always concerts and shows that are worth seeing.

Aside from visiting the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, The Intrepid, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, Broadway, Ground Zero, the Brooklyn Bridge, and a ride on the Staten Island Ferry . . . . I guess you could create your own taste test by trying to find the best pizza in NYC or maybe even create a photo album by spending the day chasing down your favorite movie backdrops. You coul also try to get tickets to one of the many live audience TV shows they film there on a daily basis.
