Question:

What's this card game called?

You have 7 cards each. Place them one at a time, a 6 can go on a 6 etc.. and a spade on a spade etc... You can put an Ace on anything and change the suit. If you put a red Jack, the next player picks up 3 cards and 5 cards for a Black Jack. You can't put a red Jack on a black one. If some one puts a 2 down, you pick 2 cards up unless you too can put a 2 on it. If you put an 8 down, that means you can put another one down straight away.

There's one or two other little rules but that's the bulk of the game.

Is it game, if so what's it called or I wonder if if has been developed locally from various games? I thought it was called Black Jack but that is cards to the value of 21.

  1. Sounds like a game I played as a young teenager, It was known then as Jack's, 2's and 8's, but that was 15 years ago probably got a different name now, but definitely the same game. 7's were miss a go.
