You know like the framework inside that keeps everything in place? Not the chassis at the bottom but the actual skeleton/frame of the car? It has a name, I know they're easily visible and exposed in a lot of rally cars?

Body~Shell~Frame

these can b spiced up with decals as well to give it that little bit of sexiness

It's the frame. The body, or "shell", is the upper structure that contains the trunk, doors, interior, etc. The body bolts to the frame.
