What's this phenomenon in the sky? AREA 51 pic inside?

This photo was taken around sunset from the WEST side of Las Vegas, facing EAST (so the sun was setting behind me), the direction of Area 51:

See the two streaks of blue sky cutting through the orangey sunset haze? What could have caused that?
