What's this sport? (in the olympics)?

I was watching the olympics a couple days ago and saw a sport being played that I liked but had no idea what it was....

it was like basketball and soccer combined in one... the ball being thrown around being thrown into goals....

I loved it but had no clue what it was called...

Handball...I saw it for the first time as well and was absolutely amazed at the sport. I had heard of it before, but never actually had the opportunity to watch a game. It was crazy!

I think you're talking about Handball.  The US didn't qualify a team, so it'll be pretty hard for you to find it on any American channels, but it's worth it if you do.
