After the market got analed monday, QMNM went right back up to about it's former value, while PODM continued to decrease... Why is that? And how can I find the actual value of penny stocks, as opposed to public view?

  1. Although they are both penny stocks, QMNM is not traded on the pink sheets while PODM is.

You can look up SEC filings on QMNM to find out what is happening with the company. The SEC filings should contain enough information for you to be able to estimate a value of the stock. (I don't know what you mean by "as opposed to public view.")

As far as I know there is no good way to find accurate information on most pink sheet stocks. Some issue press releases with relatively complete financial statemsnts, but most do not.

There are a few legitimate analysts who dig into pink sheet stocks to try to determine what is happening with them, but for every legitimate analyst there are dozens for scam artists posing as analysts (or insiders) trying to manipulate the stock price or trying to sell subscriptions to their recommendations.

My recommendation is to stay away from all pink sheet stocks. You usually have no way of knowing why the stock price changes or how the company is performing.
