I'm seeing a lot of this here,Crosby, Lemieux, Malkin. Ok...so Jagr was the biggest cry baby of them all... I will admit that. But what gives with the other players?

  1. It drives me f'ing insane. If I hear another whiner say something about them again they're going to have to throw me into the "happy house". Woo.

Please dear mighty lord, let me know when Sidney has ever whined. I have lived in Pittsburgh for a long time and even since Crosby's been here I haven't heard a whine leave his abnormally large lips. Malkin doesn't even speak good f'ing english.....how does he whine?

  2. People make this comments based on on ice conduct. Whenever Crosby is hooked slightly he goes straight to the ref complaining. But Crosby is by all means no the ONLY player who does that in the NHL, they ALL do, but because of who he is, people pay attention more.

  3. New York made it out to the media that the Pens cried about everything.. but meanwhile any time the camera was on Jagr he was doing SOMETHING along the lines of whining...

oh well, the penguins have came farther than a lot of other hockey teams...

  4. The other Atlantic fans aren't very creative, so they just stick with the same insult all the time.

  5. freakin lemieux goes 6'5 250 pounds got hit by guys 6 inches shorter n 50 pounds lighter and IMMEDIATLY skated over to the refs and started complainig.. .. WHILE THE PLAY WAS LIVE... crosby does the same thing... talking to the ref after the whistle is one thing .... but standing there while the other team has the puck goin up ice  YAPPING at the ref is TOTAL CRYBABY especially 8 or 10 times a game ....fario is the only guy I ever saw take a slapshot cross ice at an opposing players ankle DURING LIVE PLAY ... he did it TWICE .. in the PLAYOFFS against the Capitals.. to purposely hurt them.... you obviously aren't watching the Wings ...zetterburg, lidstrom,datsyuk... they play with no yapping at the refs... even holmstrom on the no goal call didnt skate to the ref and say anything  ... pittsburgh is a city full of whiners and full of teams full of whiners ... i know .. i lived in beaver county.. 30 miles down the road ... for years ... the least knowledgible and most fickle "FANS" are people in pittsburgh

  6. Its crazy, isn't it? I'll guarantee you EVERY NHL star whines t the refs, so shut up already. half the time, if you watch a game live, you see a LOT of players talking with the refs. When you see it on TV and the camera is always on Crosby when he's on the ice between plays, guess what other 9 guys you aren't seeing?

  7. It's NOT the players that cry, it's a small minority of the fans.

As far as Crosby: He doesn't "cry", he "whines" - and that's probably because they gave him that "C" so early that he really doesn't know how to "work" the referees yet. Meaning everything he says comes across like a complaint.

Give him some time and he'll learn.

  8. I don't know what people are talking about when they call Malkin and Lemieux crybabies, but I can understand the Crosby thing.  I like Crosby now, but didn't when he first came in the league.  He was a pretty big baby.  But I think I would complain to the refs a lot to, seeing the way other teams play him.  He has matured a lot in the few years he's been in the league and I would no longer consider him a crybaby.  He is one of the best players in the league.

  9. Gah why does everyone have to take a hit on Jagr?

I don't like Crosby because he embellishes (sorry for spelling) all the penalties he draws. In my opinion he does dive at some points but he always complains to the refs everytime he gets touched.

  10. It's all jealousy!
