What's up with all these male Boston marathon runners running in dresses?

So these dudes have made it to the most prestigious marathon in the world, but you're wearing a minnie mouse costume, or pink tuto with a magic wand. (1) Assuming one wouldn't run their best time in a costume, why do it that way? (2) Considering this is a serious race for serious runners, isn't this somewhat disrespectful? (3) Is this part of a movement? (4) Are these guys drag queens or something? (5) Are they trying to humiliate people like me because so many of them passed me? Also, I noticed when people cheered them on they didn't wave or anything. That seems odd. If you're dressed up like the Good Witch of the East, at least kid around with the crowd. Booo hiss!

  1. The humor is the best part.  They are running a race with a high level of difficulty in a tutu?  THAT'S hardcore.

  2. Why are they running in dresses? There was a great sale down the street, ducky. Didn't you see it? Don't tell me you didn't!

Because it is too hard to tumble in dresses?

    Because dresses are groovy?

Because they wanted to baffle you to give you material for a question? That's it! They work for Yahoo!

Give me a kiss, you silly!
