I have like 5 but I actually see them on a regular basis. What's the point of having like 200 friends? Doesn't it kind of degrade status of your real friends?

  1. While I don't send invites (and if I do its not often), I add people to be nice. that being said that's probably the reason I don't have a huge friends list, and to answer your question, its probably social status and an activity to some people, answer invites from people they know and have the highest number of people that know them.

  2. they just add each other if they know each other.  as in like, they recognize them when they seem them in streets. you know?  and its good to have a lots of people.  you never know when you need to talk to them.

  3. I accept people who adds me and bothers to say hi in doing so.. otherwise i block them.. i accept never add because i love meeting new people and i have met great people online ....... you can meet people anywhere.. but i would not advice any young teens under age of 19 to add random people as they might not have good intentions.

  4. People love adding friends on facebook because they think it makes them more popular. Personally, I only add people as friends if I've spoken to them one-on-one. If you don't want to degrade your real friends, try using the "top friends" application.
