What's up with teenage girls thinking that it's cute to be pregnant?

my friend told everyone in our school that she was pregnant and that she was going to get an abortion, and she got mad when ppl started calling her names and saying that she was heartless for getting an abortion (i agree, i don't abortions), and like a week later she got tired of ppl being mean to her, so she told everyone that she lied. she gets mad at other people bc their still bothering her about it.

Well it is cute to be pregnant, when you are ACTUALLY OLD ENOUGH!!! It is not cute when  you are young.....it makes you look really bad that you're having s*x that young. I mean WHERE ARE THE PARENTS!!! I went to school with girls like that, no matter the generation there will always be "those girls" They thrive for attention.

It's stupid girls thinking is cute, and funny to be pregnant. Do they not understand how much work it would be to have a baby in high school? The costs and the care would be overwhelming. Why girls want people to think that they are pregnant is beyond me. Maybe they just want people to know who they are and they want the attention. Why can't they make up some other lie? And if you were bragging about being pregnant, why would you also brag about getting an abortion? It's just really horrible. The things people do for attention is sad. I hope she figures it all out..

Thank the media for making teen girls think it's cute to be pregnant at a young age. With all the celebs getting pregnant now it's like babies are the new cool accessories to complete the perfect outfit. First it was Chihuahuas and now it's children. Seriously, give me a break. Don't get me wrong there's a huge difference between the ones that actually want the baby and then the ones that had an accident.

If your friend is so upset about people bothering her about saying she was getting an abortion, then maybe she should have thought about keeping that detail to herself.

I know people seriously need to babysit instead or something.  I mean if it unintentionally happens, like you weren't smart enough to use protection, or the protection didn't work thats one thing, but to actually want to get pregnant that young is another story.

People shouldn't be making fun of her for wanting an abortion.  I myself am against abortions, but if the mother felt that was the best thing, then thats okay.  At least she is doing the right thing for her baby and not bringing her into a world with a stressed out, broke mother.
