What's up with the CBS poll regarding Obama and Mccain?

It says Obama is eight points ahead. But every other poll shows that they're separated by like 2 or at the most 3 points. I need to do a report for school about where the election stands. Is Obama leading or is the election still dead heat? Please help me. Which polls are more credible.

Try this site.  They show all the major polls, and a rolling average.  In the average it was close to tied - now Obama is +4.5%.

Polls at this point mean nothing, really. But remember that CBS tried to influence the '04 Election with forged documents. I wouldn't put much past them.

I just saw on 2 seperate stations the difference was 3% on one poll and 5 % on another, so I guess CBS makes up stuff like all good liberals do when they don't get their way.  No wonder why their ratings are so low, they are not credible and can't be taken seriously.

Forget the TV Polls and Poll your Classmates! That would be more true!Depending on where you live the mixture of races available would be a truer pole. I believe Obama/Biden ticket should be leading by Double digits.However I am biased based on the Facts & Issues only.
