Do storms seem to be becoming more frequent, and more severe? Are there any statistics to back this up?

  1. Global warming. It's the only answer. We're s******g up this planet and hoping future generations will fix it before we're all wiped off the face of the Earth.

Every three months, Americans throw away enough aluminum cans to rebuild the entire US air fleet.

Americans trash 700 plastic bottles every second. It's enough to make 2 million fleece sweaters every day.

A water faucet that leaks one drop per second will drip 165 gallons a month.

Recycling just one aluminum can saves enough energy to operate a TV for three hours.

Americans use almost 100 billion (yes, BILLION) plastic bags every year. Their use is banned in several countries.

We're screwed, people, unless we all start doing out part right now. It's the only way to save our planet. We shouldn't move to another (like Mars) unless this one is fixed first.

  2. there aren't a lot of storms in Los Angeles, but the weather sure is hoooooooottttttt today!!!!!!!!

  3. In some parts of the country it is terrible what's going on. In California we are in a severe drought. It's unbearably hot and dry right now-and it's not officially summer yet. All this in my opinion is from global warming. I read years ago this would be what we would experience and well---here it is!

  4. Honestly, I don't know why any one thinks the weather is whack. I love storms. Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Cyclones, love em all.

  5. the best explanation to this is global warming

  6. Just an anomaly in the grand scheme of things.  We have a bad year of severe weather and/or flooding every few years.

Just another one of those years.

Don't listen to those saying its global warming.  It doesn't exist and/or isn't proven in the least.  They are just spewing out what they have heard the past few years w.out picking up a book or two for themselves to read and decide.
