What's up with this toad?

Question

I have a toad about as big as a fist living in one of my flower pots. Every nite at exactly 8:45 he comes out, hops across the patio and goes off into the bushes. THEN...at exactly 7;30 in the morning he comes back home. We can set our clocks by him. He has been doing this for about two weeks. Whats up with this? We don't disturb him..we just let him be.
