What's ur insurance payment for each 6 months?>?

our family insurance is $2100 for 6 months (this include my mom, dad, and bro) I thought this is a rip off... what's yours?

we never got into an accident and my dad only had 1 ticket in his entire life

That is high!!  Of course I am the only one on my policy.  I have full coverage on a 2001 Sebring convertable.  I pay $49 a month, so $300 every 6 months.  I'm with State Farm.

you need to have your family switch companies,because that is too much. try the general.... my family is on that insurance plan and its 4 of us and we only pay $800 for 6 months

Dude shop around. USAA is the best around. Join as a member by opening a checking or savings account if your not military.

Sounds like you live in a state where insurance is required.  If so, it doesn't matter what your driving record is, you're going to pay an arm and a leg.  I've lived in a state that did not require insurance and I paid $300 every six months for full coverage with a $500 deductible  (I drove a newer Buick Century.)  When I moved to a state with mandatory insurance, my rate more than doubled.

Also, now that the crooked insurance companies can use your credit score, if you have bad credit, they will raise your rates.  How old is your brother?  The fact that he's male will result in higher rates, and the younger he is, the higher the rates will be.
