  1. Karate. Seriously you must be an aggressive person go to a physiatrist

  2. Yeah I'm 15 and about the same as you.

I just recently started taking muay thai which is a pretty awesome standup and I'll be taking BJJ pretty soon but you know it will take a while of training before you actually start fighting

  3. i'm 16 and I am a student and teacher as well(have been for almost 10yrs now) and karate is on the top of my list of styles i've had the most fun with. i've trained in many many styles around the world. Never Back Down gives the wrong illusion to what martial arts are about. that was all street fighting. MMA would be good for you. It's got a bunch of everything. Aikido is good with defences and BJJ has a lot of ground fighting like Judo. Only you can push yourself to make yourself the best like you saw no matter what class or style or academy you choose. some senseis will push you harder but only you know what you can do.

  4. Tae Kwon Do Should help

  5. Judo is the thing to do if you want to do some fighting. It is an all contact sport, and it ROCKS!!!

  6. I think there are probably alot of Karate schools that do more sparring than the one you mentioned.  An MMA class will definitely do alot of sparring.

You may be limited in choosing a school based on what is available in your area.

If you have a good MMA school in your town, then try it out for a couple of weeks and see if you like it.

But don't give up on karate or Tae Kwon Do if that is all you have in your town.  Both of them can be fine as a "base" martial art if your goal is to become an MMA fighter.  You should also try out for your school wrestling program if you want to be a good MMA fighter, it will help alot.

Keep in mind, the movie never back down wasnt about being a tough guy, it was about making the guy a better person.

    Good luck.

    James
