What's vegan at Denny's?

mom's taking me for breakfast tomorrow at denny's, usually i get toast and a side of fruit but im kind of tired of that. any other ideas? thanks.

not at dennys...looks like toast and fruit again...sorry...

may i suggest, next time, take your mom out to breakfast, and go somewhere different...you can look up the menus online and find one that is both vegan and non vegan friendly...

Actually, I really doubt their toast is vegan... most bread (sans good/expensive bread but, face it, Denny's uses cheap c**p) has dairy byproducts in it (notably casein - a cheap source of protein) and often small amounts of honey.  And obviously neither dairy nor honey are vegan, yet they're in most store bought (and cheap diner served) breads.  

Get a salad (no cheese, obviously).  And ideally no dressing (though I think they have just oil and vinegar if you ask), if you're really strict (refined sugar).  Or a fruit bowl, but again... the coat it in sugar.

Nothing at Denny's is truly vegan except maybe a dressingless, cheese-less, crouton-less salad.

how do you know they didnt use eggs or milk on that toast you order?

wow, being vegan is pretty hard i just realized. My plan was to become vegan in another 1or 2 yrs, but im starting to reconsider.

Given that Denny's serves the worst food on the planet, and compound the problem by imposing vegan restrictions on what you eat, and you're lucky to get anything even semi-edible there. Eat your toast and fruit and be thankful it isn't worse.

i think their whole menu is available all day so you could probably have a salad or some vegetables.
