Question:

What's vegan at White Spot?

I think, as far as I know (of course, I don't know much, or else I wouldn't be asking), nothing on the menu is?

For example I went to White Spot today and ordered the Pasta Primavera without cheese... but apparently the sauce had cheese in it. The manager was nice enough to make a special dish for me with only pasta and veggies stir-fried in vegetable oil.

  1. why would a vegan even want to eat there, this just seems like a bad idea. You could find better choices almost anywhere. Just go to a supermarket and make your own meal.

  2. Hi There,

Good question.  Ive been to white spot and have been skimming the menu.  I would say Nothing or next to nothing is vegan there.

Your options are: Fries, as long as they were cooked in a separate fryer that didn't at some point fry up some chicken fingers.

Ketchup-most are vegan friendly.  tomatoes, vinegar, garlic and sugar

Garden salad with only veggies of course.  Ask for oil and vinegar to be brought to the table so you can dress your own salad (incase their dressings have animal fats or dairy in them.)

-Most pastas are not vegan friendly.  They are usually made with eggs

    OR

    -.Chicken En Brodo

Fresh chargrilled BC chicken breast with sautéed rosemary & shallot infused local nugget potatoes and sweet local yellow peppers simmered in a light tomato sauce. 14.99 **acceptable option if you remove the chicken.

-Sweet potatoe fries, without the chipotle dip

    - Pop

    -Water

I took this info right off the White spot menu.
