What's with Chevy Monte Carlos being run in the Nationwide Series?

The car's been discontinued for awhile, they really should run the Impala.

  1. You want them to build all new cars when nascar is changing the car next year?

    Many teams wont even compete after the changeover. Nationwide will be gibbs, roush, rcr only.

  3. It's a matter of the almighty dollar.  Why waste money on new cars for nothing?

  4. I agree Tom, but for some reason NASCAR doesn't put the money into the Busch/Nationwide series like it does the cup series. It's only going to make it a little more difficult for the the drivers to adjust when they go into the cup series.

    When they switched over to the COT look what happened with the cup drivers, it took a lot of work to get the car right and they're still making adjustments. I guess if they are changing the cars next year it makes a little sense. Bottom line...it's all about the $$$
