Question:

What's with D&D 4th Edition?

I was wondering what the RPG community out there thinks of the new D&D 4th Edition. I have all core and accessory books along with all campaign setting core books for 3.0/3.5 and I have ordered all the core books, accessory books, and adventures that have and will be released this year from Amazon.com (they will ship as they come out). Is it worth the time/money sink? How much different is it from 3.5 Ed.? Who is all going to play on The Game Table? And when the heck is D&DInsider going to be ready for us to use?

  1. I personally think that TSR(or whoever the current owners are) are betraying all of its loyal fans!  I has changed from a group of people who played for the love of it into a way to make a ton of money.  And while I understand that making money is important they are doing it at thecost of the quality of the game!  I say wait a little bit they will come out with a 4.5 soon enough.

The truth as I have it from Volo is that this all an elaborate scheme by Cyric and the best thing is to avoid these books as no one knows what the effect of reading them might be, however given Cynic's past contributions to the written word it can only bring madness and destruction!
