Question:

What's with NJ transit?

I'm new to NJ, sort of. I've been here nine months and every time I see something in a different city it seems like such an ordeal to get there via NJ Transit. Is it me, or does it take forever to get anywhere? I don't have a car because I work a lot in NYC but it just seems to me that I'm missing something.

For instance, Montclair, NJ takes a while to get to from Jersey City and there's a transfer to a bus. It seems silly to have to go to all that trouble when, if I had a car, it'd take a half hour.

Maybe I'm spoiled and just used to the PATH.

  1. New York City is one of the 3 or 4 American cities with comprehensive public transit systems.  New Jersey is more like a typical American city:  car-oriented, with very limited public transportation for those who cannot drive for some reason.  No, you aren't missing anything, that's just the way it's set up.

  2. NJ is close toNY.  Terrorist like to blow up NY.  NJ has alot of people from Canada.  Allot of Canadians go to NJ to get arrested for terror so that the Congressman can get on the intelligence committee.  NJ has a terror problem, but it pays out in the long run.
