What's with Richmond this year? they are worse than ever?

They are definitely worse and will struggle to get better udner the current management/coaching staff. perhaps the tigers should sack the majority of the board, the older players and definitely the coach, and start over again. Radical sure; but they need to do something.

Unfortunately for long-suffering Richmond fans the wheels have yet again fallen off another season. The thing that is really troubling is that it seems as though no hope is on the horizon unless we opt to finish dead last. All these years of finishing 9th have really taken their toll on the Tigers. We have missed out on some fantastic talents that have given teams like St Kilda, the Bulldogs, Carlton, Hawthorn, some exceptional talent. Combined with poor choices on the recruiting front, (where is Kingsley?) injury and a aging roster of experienced players we don't look like being able to compete in the new era of football. Our players look short on class and poise under pressure, they seem to struggle on the big occasion. Richmond will yet again churn out the fighting spirit that has barely held them in stead with their supporters since 1982, but no genuine challenge for a premiership looks likely. Definitely not this year and perhaps not for a long while yet. Has anyone put a curse on the club as a matter of interest?

I do feel for their supporters but I think mis management is the problem more than anything else, Players who just want match payments and dont want to play for the team.

They have some great young players my guess is they will sell them off as soo as they can...

poor poor richmond.. and long suffering richo

Well when your coach annouces that 2011 will be the year - what do you expect?  They are in rebuilding phase.

At least Richmond fans can still remember the days when Richmond did win the flag. Some club supporters (Geelong, Bulldogs, Melbourne & St Kilda) cannot remember anything as its been 50 years ago!  and what about Freo...never won anything!
