Man what is it about the fact that someone who is not of Caucasian decent has a chance of assuming the role of Commander and Cheif of the United States that has people so paranoid?

Besides there are white people who are for him and blacks who are against him.

I tell you what I know about him...

He's claims to be black.....Black father, White mother

He's for change

He really doesn't have that much experience 145 days give or take in the Senate.

He is for raising taxes

He is for Universal Health Care.

He is a dove

He listened to a racist pastor for 20 years

He does have a good looking wife, with style and 2 beautiful little girls.

He is educated.

No sense of rhythm from what I can tell.....maybe that's from his mothers side.

He does studder and stammer some during his speech's

That's all I know of the man.

well looking over the answers you have already (with the exception of the first one) it pretty clear that he has a great vision for America. its called socialism or Communism, we don't like that.

2. gun control (oppressive government)

3. pull out of iraq(cause instant takeover by al qaeda or taliban, oppression of civilians begins again)

4. raise taxes to astronomical levels

5. give many free handouts (i.e. increase welfare)

6. take money from the rich by way of increased taxes and give it out amongst the poor making everyone "equal" (thats communism)

I don't have to hate Obama to vote against him.  Frankly, I'd prefer Bush again but am willing to settle for McCain.  I'm unwilling to settle for Obama.  

You wanted a list.

His lack of an energy policy

His lack of an economic policy

His regressive taxation policy

His lack of experience

His desire to greatly expand the entitlement class of the United States.

To name a few.

Why does it have to be hate or racism to vote for someone else?  Poor Kerry and poor Gore.  They were white guys and didn't have a built in excuse.  I guess if Obama loses some of you that only see things in black and white can console yourselves that the white man just wouldn't vote for the black man.  However, I don't think you have taken a critical look at what you are promoting.  Obama is too far from ideal and it isn't in anyone's best interest to find out how bad he could be.

Why do you assume that is why people don't like him? Why is it always people's first assumption that it's racism? Many people dislike him because he is practically socialist and has no experience. I am perfectly fine with voting for a black, asian or hispanic person. However, his playing the race card and purposely looking to turn any comment made by republicans, into a racial slur turns me off from him even more. It discredits him and makes him look like a petty, whiny child. It's amazing how the dems can keep referring to McCain as confused, insinuating that he is senile. That's ageism, since there is no proof of that. Stop trying to project your own self loathing on others.

That's not why. I dislike liberal politicians in general, regardless of race or any other such irrelevant factors. I loathe his policies and his beliefs.
