What's with all the windows updates?

It seems like Windows is downloading an update all the time these days. It used to be only once in a while, but now my computer is asking to reboot all the time. Anyone know what's up?

As security issues are found Microsoft releases patches to fix them, along with updates for windows features. At times there will be none and at times there will me many.

There is a huge security fix going on at Microsoft. Believe it or not, they are still patching SP1 that came out a long time ago. So it will go back to normal later. And if your tired of rebooting all the time, you can postpone it.
