Any idiot would know that they are! If they didn't their world geography teacher sucked! I'm Haitian and I know that Haitians are latino. Whenever people think of latinos they think of people with dark hair tan skin and who speak Spanish, but little do the dumb asses know that LATINO IS NOT A RACE. Haitians are black yes, but they are also latino. That's like saying African Americans are American cause they're black. So they must be African. Being latino means you come from a country that speaks a latin based language, whicfh are Spanish. Italian, Portuguese and FRENCH! And to you other idiots who don't think Brazil is part of Latin America you're a dumbass!

  2. We all know that there are a lot of "dumbasses" that use labels in different ways......   and define these terms in different ways..

Let's face it ,,, to most people,,, "Latino" means someones' race as you described.  That's pretty widly understood..     And we all know that their is A LOT of grey area when it comes to peoples' races in the western world.   Especially with hispanic people....   Their race really comes from many shades of black, white and native peoples.....

The western world is made of people from other places.  Anyway,,, I personnally don't like the definition that "latino" means anyone from a Latin based country.

Under that definition,,,   Canadians are all "latino" because Canada's second official language is French.

Quebec is exclusively french,, and so are certain parts of Canada's east coast ,,,  does that make everyone in Quebec Canada "latino" ??     Are all the people of France and Romania and Italy "Latino" ....... ect..

And if the French are "latino",,,   then,,  does that also mean that Hatians are French??    by that definition and standard,, the answer would be yes......

as you know ,, I think that many people including many Hatians would have a problem with that.   They are not French,,,   they are largely of African decent ...   if the language they were forced to speak makes them "latino" ,, then how are they not French by the same standard?

just some things to consider when people start getting carried away with labels ...

The truth is,,, we all came from Africa at some point,,, and there has been plenty of mixing and matching along the way.
