The snitches arn' t always actual users, sometimes they're administrater folks posing as users. I hate that.

But to respond to what you said to my question (you didn't have any e-mail option posted, so I had to do this publically)... first you need to try some things. If you talk to her and you can tell that she's in a normal happy mood, put your hand on her shoulder, or find some way to touch her in a way that you don't normally do. If she pulls away suddenly or gets uncomfortable, then you probably shouldn't tell her (in my opinion). Also, ask her to do something privately, like dinner or something, if you haven't already, and if she seems ok with the idea, and doesn;t mention wanting to invite or bring anyone else, then you're ok.
