What's with cats & making the bed?

My cat goes so crazy - it's so funny. I'm told all cats do that????

They do it's very strange!  My one cat is a large Maine Coon Cat and when he decides he's going to sit among the sheets you CAN'T move him!  But they're very cute playing in the bedding!

Mine go crazy as I'm making it and when I'm done they will crawl under the covers and create little tunnels to play in. Its very strange but funny.

Yes, I think that all cats do this -- that's what I've been told, anyway.  My kitty totally cracks me up every time I put clean sheets on the bed.  She can be in another room, and somehow she senses what I'm doing, and before I know it, I see her leaping through the air and landing on the bed and going absolutely crazy, trying to catch the sheets.  Sometimes I put my hand underneath the comforter (it's really thick so she can't hurt me) and I move my hand around under there and it's so funny to watch her pounce on it and chase my hand around.  Needless to say, since I got her a year ago, making the bed takes a lot longer than it used to!

my moms cat does this they make him into the bed except for a corner and he loves it, he'll stay in there purring for quite awhile.

I AM LAUGHING AS I READ YOUR HEADLINE... yes it is something to do with the moving sheets/ blankets.  Mine pounce and even when I get them off they come back for more.

Agravating when I am in a rush ... but otherwise it IS very funny!

When you start putting the sheets over them and see the big lump moving around it is one of the best times of owning a cat because it makes you smile. It's just plain hilarious.
