I recently bought organic milk b/c I heard it was better for you but it makes me gassy. Regular milk has never done this to me so what is it about organic? Is it just because my body isn't used to it and it should go away? Like say, when you start eating a lot of fiber all at once...

  1. i'm not sure, but organic milk is probably from cows that haven't been injected with a certain hormone (RGBH).   This hormone is used for cows to produce more milk.  It is banned in Australia and in some European countries, but not in the US.

  2. There's no difference between organic milk and conventional milk. It's a huge scam.

  3. s***w organic milk! lol jk its no dif

  4. What bothers most of us with pasteurized dairy products, whether organic or otherwise, is that they are very hard to digest because the enzymes needed to absorb the nutrients have been killed by the heat. So the body has to work hard just to move all the stuff out. Organic milk might just have more stuff in it than regular milk.

What is good is raw milk from grass fed cows. Grass fed cows tend to be healthier than cows kept in a barn or fed grain or processed feed, so the lack of pasteurization is not a big deal. But the taste is terrific. It is easy to digest and a little of it is very satisfying.
