Question:

What's with the Moorish bath houses in Granada, Spain?

Two people I've spoken to about my trip to Spain have alluded to the fact that there's something illicit about them, but neither of these people had the guts to actually explain what's so "interesting." Is it that bad? Have they been converted into an S&M dungeon? Are Basque terrorists stockpiling WMD's there? What's the big secret?

  1. They can't all be "bad". I hit one about a year and a half ago and there was nothing wrong with it. I always find if you're unsure of something while traveling make sure to let someone at home know where and when you're going and tell them you'll call them at a later time that day. If they don't hear from you make sure they will try to find you. I've never had any problems travelling in Europe in general if you use your common sense. If you get there and hate it (or feel something is "shady"), leave.
