I don't understand why this guy was let out, it says he has a long string of arrests including rape and molestation. Shouldn't he have not seen the light of day again? how was he let out to be able to commit more crimes?

  1. Hmmmm. Could it be that Americans want to outlaw everything. But not have to pay more for housing the criminals? Just a thought.

I know, I know. I shouldn't try to think without proper adult supervision.

  2. Generally, this answer is simple, but not often accepted.  The vast majority of sheeple are reticent to believe that the government has one intent; that is to support itself.  The public good does not enter into that.  Public safety is of no concern other than to serve as a smokescreen for other endeavors.

The answer to your question is this: the American system of justice releases those who are most expected to reoffend, simply because incarceration is a money game.

  3. He definitely needs to get the death penalty for this offense.  Prior offenses are mentioned, but no detail is provided for the convictions.

Personally, I'd like to see obvious death penalty cases fast-tracked through to completion.  It IS a money issue, because our liberal court system requires so many appeals, for which the government must pay the costs of the criminal's advocates (lawyers).

We spend more money annually to house one inmate than most inmates could ever earn in one year, if ever they had a real job.  We need a better system.

For one, we should eliminate the life-without-parole option, and just execute these criminals.  Three strikes, and you are REALLY out!  However, we need to drop the cheap felonies from the Three Strikes laws.  Murder and aggressive shoplifting are not equivalent felonies, and they shouldn't be treated as such.

On the whole, we need to reevaluate our priorities, and set punishment standards that are more consistent.  If you are caught driving while under the influence of alcohol in California, you lose your license for awhile.  However, if you are caught driving while under the influence of drugs, you don't.  This makes no sense.

In addition, drug offenders can have the charges dismissed after completing a diversion program, while alcohol offenders cannot.  If drugs are illegal and alcohol is legal, why is the punishment for using a legal substance more severe?  Politics!

Until we can educate people effectively and restore order to the family structure, I don't see anything improving with regard to these issues, and I'm an optimist!  Oh well.
