What's with the extended weather forecast in NW Oregon? A conspiracy perhaps?

For the past 3 months it tells us that sunny days are only a week away, but as we move closer to the "sun" it keeps moving away. IOW- no sunny days ever. They're always a week away.

Do they do this because we'll stop watching if they tell the truth (which is rain, rain, and more rain until you die) or because they really don't know.

I'm starting to wonder. If they just told the truth- "It will rain non-stop and be cold as a witches t*t... forever."- who would watch the forecast?

  1. Patience, patience. It develops character, living in Oregon. Just see how green everything is!

  2. Yours is the most reasonable conspiracy theory I've ever heard. I would never put it past TV stations to lie just to get more viewers. Then again maybe it's just that they can't say "witch's t*t" on the air.

  3. Nah... -Just Weathermen who are DREAMING of "better days" (kinda like Bush has been, for the past 7 years...).  :)
