What's worse, a catagory 5 hurricane or a F5 tornado?

the hurricane because the tend to spawn off tornadoes while hitting.

I'd say an F5 tornado. First of all the winds are much stronger (at least 322km/h) while a Category 5 hurricane is only at least 248km/h. Also with tornadoes people have less time to prepare because they can occur with little or no warning and the damage is a lot worse. While with a category 5 hurricane, people are informed a few days in advance and have time to prepare.

Either one would make me schit my pants, but if I had to get hit by one I'd go with the hurricane.....the thought of being in a tornado freaks me out

If I knew either one would be a direct hit, I would go  with a hurricane 5 and stay in a basement if I had one.

A tornado would suck life out of you even in a basement
