drinking kills more kids that marijuana, through overdose and driving accidents the number of kids who die from alcohol are staggering compared to marijuana. In fact if i'm not mistake, there has been no documented cases of death from marijuana overdose. Alcoholics are notorious for being violent and abusive, while potheads are notorious for........eating.......no type of addiction is good, but really what is worse? I would also like to make a disclaimer that a do not smoke pot at all, I tried it a few times and absolutely hated it. It is definately not for me, but I don't think this gives me a right to deny someone who benefits from it.

You can say, both are equally bad because both are illegal for kids to use........but how do you justify this logic once a person turns 21?

  1. I would say the parents who allow this activity are the worse.

  2. they are both bad.. smoking is illegal and could get in a lot of trouble for that. drinking is also bad because it does take lives. you can't just rely on deaths though.. you have to tell your kid that doing either one of these can cause problems within families. I've seen families getting torn a part because someone was addicted to drugs. The kids suffer the must. Destruction comes with drinking or smoking. It's a horrible life to pursue.

  3. you're right. alcohol is way worse. way way way worse. **** the law and the dumbasses who waged the "war on drugs"

  4. A kid without any crutch is better off than one with a crutch!

Try everything once, twice be concerned you like it, three times you may have a problem.

  5. You just answered your own question.  Marijuana has not killed one person.  If a marijuana smoker has died, it is probably because they either smoked cigarettes or did some other type of drug that effects the body negatively.  Alcohol is much worse, especially as a child, because they are growing and can not handle that kind of substance.  I am not putting down anyone who smoked marijuana or drinks alcohol, because that would make me a hypocrite, but do you think constantly eating and sleeping or having a ******* up liver and diabetes is worse?

  6. I don't think its about which is less evil.

I think that over-indulgence (abuse) is the root of evil.

I believe MJ is less dangerous if you are going to abuse it because your info is correct.

But overdoing it on MJ can also kill lots of brain cells as well which leads to short-term memory loss.

But to fully answer your question, I'd say that drinking would be worse because it has the higher potential for addiction.

  7. The reason the age is 21 is because it was believed that the brain stops developing at 21 (now confirmed at 25) which is where the real damage of underage drinking occurs.

But I agree, I think pot is the lesser of two evils.

  8. I would say alcohol is worse. It seems to do more damage to innocent people.

  9. The Addict one is by the time they turn 21 will justify/reason/rationalize all that you just asked.

It is important to know that what ever age drug/alcohol usage starts is usually where the person's emotional age will be arrested/stuck.

Therefore, if someone starts using at age 13 - that is the age they will stay until they are able to get help and move forward with their life.

It does not matter which drug you use.

A drug (alcohol is a drug) is a drug, is a drug....

  10. As long as they don't try to do both, cause man, that'll just ruin your whole night, y'know?

  11. drinking, it makes you drunk and do stupid things

  12. A child who drinks to excess or who drinks and drives is worse than a child who occassionaly smokes marijuana.

A child who smokes marijuana is worse than a child who drinks in moderation, and refrains from driving afterwards.

The worst is a child who drinks to excess or smokes marijuana and grows up to be an adult who drinks to excess, an adult who drinks and drives, or an adult who smokes marijuana.

Drinking is perfectly safe--and may even be healthy--when done properly. There is no way to smoke anything safely.

Marijuana is illegal, and once you're an adult your responsibilities should prevent you from using it. The penalties and potential embarassment are too great for a responsible person. You will be unable to support yourself and your family if you are in jail, if you're fired from your job because your name is in the papers, or if no one will hire you due to your criminal record.

  13. DRINKS.

marijana you knwo what your doing.

    and you can drive,

    not with alchohol.
