I wear leather shoes (environmentally friendly tanning) and as much natural organic clothing as I can afford and detest the idea of petrol based products that harm the air and waterways, but the idea of wearing animal skin is gross to someone else. So which is more worrying to you, killing an animal or poisoning your environment?

  1. I respect the vegan lifestyle but for me as a non-vegan I would rather make efficient use of the cow that died for food than manufacture a good from scratch using perto-chemicals.  That's just me though.

  2. I will continue wearing leather,

  3. So you prefer clothes made from crops grown on more land that is necessary thereby depriving more animals than necessary of habitat?

Because that's what 'organic' food and clothing usually means.

  4. Man has worn animal skin for thousands of years. We are doing the environment a favor in doing so.What do you think would happen if animals especially cattle were left to rot? We would have an even more environmental disaster. As far as wearing natural clothing. That's good,as natural products let your skin breathe properly.I love leather,so  I'll continue to wear it,especially shoes.
