Was I dead on on my assessment (see below), it looks like it's happening prematurely. I am willing to bet he's more like a .240/.250 hitter and won't become the Chase Utley type like so many people want to believe he will be. I had answers like "he's going to stay a .280 hitter for years to come" and Steven R made comments that have me ROFL at this point.
