There is nothing wrong with him, he is just having a bad week so far, it is very difficult to win every week especially when you get to the majors. Dont count him out just yet he still has 30 holes to go.

He has four Masters Titles and you ask if the greens are too tough for him? The course and greens are simply too soft due to heavy rains in that area several days ago and it changes the speed and break of the greens. I would suspect tomorrow will be his best round of the week.
