What's wrong with Yahoo groups?

Question

It started with me getting a failure when I'd send an email through groups (just earlier this evening). Now it happens even when I post at the group's message board.

Are they working on something?

I can't post via email or the group itself..seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Apparently they are aware and are trying to sort it out.

I'm getting the same failure message and can't post via email or on the site or get any emails to go through to yahoogroups at all...arrgh!

It seems to be a pretty wide spread problem. From what one person has said, you can go to your group's website and post with no problem, but email posting seems to be failing for most people.

The same thing is happening in the group I'm in.

It's happening with all the groups I'm in - the failure message when I try to post from my email.  Right now, I can at least post from the group page.  I don't like to, though.

Here's what mine says:

"Technical details of permanent failure:

PERM_FAILURE: Gmail tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. The error that the other server returned was: 553 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1). We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. Thanks for your continued support. (state 14)"

I'm posting from a gmail address.

try posting from the group page, works for me- it's a global yahoo issue, happening t many and all mail servers
