What's wrong with drinking cold water when you're hot and sweaty?

some parents are way to overprotective over everything there kids do even when it comes down to food... they want their young to be perfect and healthier then they were growing up. theres nothing wrong with eating ice cream and drinking cold water in the heat how do you think people get a good work out and keep them selves hydrated after a hot sweat the drink water if anything shes going to make her kids sick by dehydrating them
