Okay I have a Dlink adaptor WUA 1340, when I plug it in the light shines and blinks on and off really fast so I know its working. But yesterday when I turned on my computer it's just dead, it's not blinking. Same with today. The Router (WBR 1310) is working perfectly. What Do I do? Should I buy a new one or ask them to send me one??? I had this adaptor for about a year and half but I only started using it 5 monthes ago. Also, when I plus the Adaptor in it says "USB device not recognized". I haven't deleted any drivers, so I dont know why it would say that

  1. Lots of reasons. Could be a bad driver. Try plugging it into other USB ports and see if it lights up, also try different computers. If it doesn't light up it may be broken.

Can you wiggle the silver USB part while you're holding the DLink?

A LOT, a LOT of these USB stick type things get bumped or bent while they're sticking out of the computer. The solder points on the USB connector itself rip loose or snap free of the board inside the case. It's actually very easy to fix. If you know someone who messes with electronic stuff ask them to open it and see if the USB connector is loose.
