What's wrong with me? My hands and feet shake a lot.?

For the past 4 months (That I've noticed) My hands and feet have become extremely shakey. My left hand shakes more violently then my right hand. My feet shake too, except equally. It isn't painful, only annoying. It's getting in my way of life. I have a doctors appointment, but does anyone know what it could be?

the only thing that i can think of, is diabetes. but i might be wrong. My friend has Type 1 and she is 12 when her blood sugar gets low she shakes. I think it is possible. Othe symptoms are being tired a lot, stomach cramps, unquenchable thirst.
