What's wrong with me? Why am I sleeping too much? I can't even do my school work?

I have been sleeping too much this year. Where areas for the past years of my life I had always been the one who doesn't sleep so much or require a big amount. I would ever last 2 or three hours and I can still get up.

But this year it all changed. I can't even do my work as I am always sleepy. I can't even stay up late like my roommates. I will sleep earlier than they do (because they'll be busy doing school work) and they will wake up earlier than I will! They can handle it! I tired once doing what they do and I just ended up awake but not being able to do anything because I was too sleepy.

I need about 11 hours of sleep a night. Then if i am under pressure (stressed out or going throught some problems) i need even more!

My weight is average for my height so it couldn't be a weight thing. But last semester before a couple of my final exams I was so sleepy the night before i could hardly bring myself to study.

This is taking a huge toll on me. Help

  3. you might need to include more protein in your diet, specially during breakfast. It would be good if you go to the doctor and also get your thyroid checked. Good luck.
