My ac is cooling but not blowing. When the fan is set to high very little air is blown. Sometimes I hear a squeak and some light tapping...

  1. I would pull out the blower motor and check inside the "box" to see if it has leaves, twigs, foreign objects (like pencils ballpoint pens), and other stuff that is not supposed to be "stored"  there! Something could be blocking blower wheel so it won't turn!  But before that I would run wire direct to blower motor to see if the blower motor is ok, -- it won't run if electrical problem either!

Now if you hear the motor running, then you have a vacuum problem, as doors are not operating properly inside "a/c -heater plenum box"! More often - than not, - it is vacuum leak rather than switching components or servo capsules!, so check to see that vacuum is getting to stuff inside to begin with!

  2. blower motor.

    Good luck

  3. it almost sound like something is stuck in the vents...maybe dust build up...not positive..good luck!

  4. blower motor should be by the glove box

  5. 1st off, without proper diagnostics you cannot get a proper repair... with that being said...

2nd, your problem isn't with your a/c it is with your blower motor or possibly the ducting itself. Most likely it will be the blower motor or even a fuse.

Best advise would be to take it to a full service shop that can give you the proper diagnostics for a proper repair.

Good luck and hope this helps.
