What's wrong with my MP3?

I have a RCA MP3 player. When I connect it to my computer it says connected on the MP3 but on my Windows media player it still says connect a device. I tried my sisters on it and it said her's was connected. Why does mine not say it's connected? Please Help!! =]

did you try going to my computer and seeing if it says its connected there? if so you can add music manualy through the music folder just drag the songs there
