What's wrong with my Outlook Express 6?

The server responded with an error. Account: 'yahoo', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90. I am able to 'SEND' mail. Please can someone help me. I also uninstalled AVG & tried again this time the message was. The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'yahoo', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

There is a general problem with the UK Yahoo mail servers at the moment. Try changing your incoming POP3 SERVER - tools - accounts - properties - servers - change it from .co.uk to .com. This has worked for most people over the last few days. If everything is then ok you can safely reinstall your AVG with your previous settings. Obviously on your second attempt AVG was not scanning because it was uninstalled.
