What's wrong with my blackberry?

Question

Okay so I'm on the phone with Blackberry customer support and I'm told to wipe out my blacberry desktop managment because I needed to start fresh. But now my phone's screen is white and there is a pick in the middle of a box with a circle around it and a line going thru it. At this point there like, we don't know why it's doing it. You need to take it to a store .....I'm like Hello!!! You told me to what to do and you don't know why my phone is dead as door k**b. Anyone has an idea of what the image is and what it means?

i dont know but i think that u should call them and yell at them a ton. make sure u ask 4 the manager and get really pissed, then they will make sure u get wut u want

At this point the operating system needs to be reloaded on the device. I would recommend taking it to the store for assistance. I think they were trying to walk you through a device wipe, which is supposed to wipe out all personal information, but leave the operating system in tact. Sounds like something happened where the whole operating system got wiped out.

Did you try taking out the battery for a minute or two?

It sounds as if there is no longer an operating system on the phone, which requires you to install one.
