What's wrong with my cat?

I have an adult cat. She had a fight with another cat yesterday and there is no visible damage. She has small sticky balls stuck to her tail from the field, and whenever I stroke her she meows. She is a timid cat, and has become even more nervous.

  1. The small sticky balls (LOL) are just something your cat picked up in the field. nothing to worry about unless you are allergic to plants.

To me she seems fine, i would feel shaken up if i were in a fight, and please keep in mind that almost nothing short of kidney problems can kill a cat. Also, if somethings really wrong with the cat, shell start behaving really wierdly. Otherwize what it seems is that your cat is a bit timid after being frightened.

  2. I have seen cats when they get into fights, its not pretty, but after a fight a cat can still be on guard and can be acting weird, will meow more, have their tongue sticking out.  It's just the way a cat is, so there is really nothing wrong with your cat, in that sense she is just fine, the sticky balls on her tail is just something that probably gotten stuck to her tail while she was outside, so honestly right now just keep your eye on her if you are worried and she will get better if there is anything wrong.

I'm a cat owner, have two adult cats and two kittens...

  3. If you think your cat may be ill or injured, please consult a vet. There's no way anyone on here can tell you what might be wrong - we can't even see the cat! Plus your description is vague.

  4. if shes a rescue cat then its normal for them to be quite nerves if they have had a bad life before mabe cos of her been nerves she fellt that the cat got to close and got quite scared try to keep an eye on her when shes out especialy if she is a nerves cat mabe just take her to the vets and have a cheak up on her just to make sure shes ok

  5. had a cat get into a fight with no visible damage, she started the funny meow when i got near her tail. took her to vet, come to find out she had 2 puncture wounds near the base of her tail, one on each side. vet had to shave around and clean it. so even if you don't see anything doesn't mean she has not been hurt. take her to the vet and have her checked out.
