What's wrong with my coffee holder?

My computer has an electronically coffee holder tray, but I can barely use any large cups on it. It bends easily and it's snapped off once before. And every time I try to play a video game on my computer, it keeps opening and closing without warning, spilling my coffee.

Get one of those travel coffee cups with a lid. It will help reduce spillage when your cd drive closes.
